Filipino Broadway icon Lea Salonga is thankful that she was able to sing in the Netflix megahit “KPop Demon Hunters.”In an interview with Yong Chavez, Salonga said she was surprised how popular the anime film turned out to be, adding she has yet to see the movie.“Oh my God, I sing one line. I sing one line, but it is one line I am so glad to have done because of how huge a hit. I mean, you&#x27;ve got BTS members singing the songs. I mean, what? It&#x27;s like, does that mean that I am now officially one degree away from BTS because of this movie? I mean, it&#x27;s crazy. I went in to sing one line,” she said.“It was literally an hour out of my day. I didn&#x27;t know what was going to come of this. And now it&#x27;s like one of the biggest hits on Netflix…I am happy to have given an hour out of my life for what is now the biggest hit on Netflix. The biggest animated hit on Netflix.”Salonga also revealed she is more of a BTS fangirl than a K-pop fan, adding “I will follow BTS off a cliff.”
