<p>Veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez was recently reunited with her former colleagues at ABS-CBN in a heartfelt gathering that celebrated the people and memories behind the network.</p><p>On Instagram, Korina shared photos from the reunion, including snapshots of the ABS-CBN tower and building, structures that are set to be taken down soon.</p><p>&quot;Heartfelt reunion among the OGs of 1986 of ABS-CBN❤️💙💚 Can’t believe Inez Manapul, Gretchen Ocampo Recto, Angelique Lazo, Leo Katigbak, Tess Nayve, Tammy Quirino Reynoso, Dave Fabros (thank you boss Cory Vidanes for organizing), and others will not so long from now be missing this iconic building and tower that has become our &#x27;ancestral&#x27; home - where dreams began and became reality and turned into a whole new world for Filipinos nationwide,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>Korina paid tribute to the people who helped lay the foundation of ABS-CBN, saying: &quot;If only people knew how we worked it from zero. Hay, those were the days ❤️💚💙,&quot; another fan posted.</p><p>Korina had been part of several ABS-CBN programs throughout her career including <em>Hoy Gising, Balitang K, The Correspondents, TV Patrol,</em> and <em>Rated K,</em> among others.</p><p>Back in February, ABS-CBN said that it had signed a deal with Ayala Land Inc (ALI) for the sale of a portion of its property in Quezon City. Under the Memorandum of Agreement, payment for the sale will be on an installment basis. Proceeds will be used for partial payment of loans. </p><p>The operations of ABS-CBN, including offices and studios, will be consolidated in the remaining portion to be retained by the company.</p>
