<p>Known as one of the country’s most outspoken adult content creators, Salome Salvi has since ventured into mainstream acting in television and film. This year, she also steps into the role of jury member as part of the 6th annual CineGoma Film Festival. I was so honored kasi part of the jury are cinematographers, longtime filmmakers, and I am just happy to represent siguro the actors’ part of the film industry. To have that representation in the jury I think is really important, and I’m happy to participate in that way,” she said. </p><p>Organized by RK Rubber Enterprise Co. for the past five years, the CineGoma Film Festival theme this year is “May Kwento ang Bawat Laban” and it is open to amateurs, professionals, and students. The couple first met while doing a project together under Viva and have since moved in together. Despite their age gap, Salome said they are happy and going steady with their relationship. Emil first entered showbiz in the 80s where he was known as a commercial model. I think in terms of me being an actress, I think it has changed me in that way as well. Because he has been an actor for such a long time, when we work together, I always learn so much about the craft from him. And since he’s been in the industry for such a long time, he knows how things work, he knows the people behind all of these wonderful pieces of art. So parang siya ‘yung nagtuturo sa akin about the history of the film industry and the craft here. Ang dami kong natututunan sa kanya in that way. And I think ‘yun ‘yung pinakavaluable sa akin. Parang there’s always been that barrier. So whether or not I’m in a relationship, I’m always just going to be part of your screen, I’m going to entertain you through your screen. Ang concern ko lang in that regard is that for some people, that will ruin the fantasy like nagseselos sila, ganyan. But that’s not really my problem (laughs) because whether or not I’m in a relationship, people can still consume and enjoy my content. I wasn’t expecting that I would find somebody who would fit my needs and my preferences any time soon. And then I met him. And then it just so happens that he checks all the boxes, so I allowed myself to fall in love and be in a relationship. It’s been a while na rin naman,” she said.</p>
