Mika Salamanca opens about previous relationship: ‘Dumating kami sa point na nagiging toxic na’

<p>Kapuso singer and actress Mika Salamanca shared her experience with her past relationship and why they decided to end things between them. In a recent episode of Paano Ba ‘To hosted by Pinoy Big Brother host Bianca Gonzalez, the first Kapuso Big Winner answered some questions thrown by some fans of the podcast. </p><div><iframe width="1265" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UZ8G5ycqe8I" title="Misunderstood ako... paano ba &#x27;to?! with @MikaSalamanca" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>One of the questions asked by a listener was how to know when to stay or go away from a relationship. Sa past relationship ko, nag hiwalay kami kasi kailangan talaga namin mag hiwalay,” she recalled.</p><p>Mika maintained that no third party was involved in their decision to separate and they didn’t have any problem with each other but breaking up was something they needed so they could grow as individuals. </p><p>“Sa case namin, triny namin. Nag bigay kami ng time sa sarili namin. I remember sabi pa namin sa isa’t-isa, ganitong time next year pag walang nangyayari sa atin dalawa or pag wala pa nangyari individually, kailangan natin mag hiwalay kasi hindi na nag wowork,” she added.</p><p>The Kapuso actress then revealed that their relationship got to a point where it was toxic already as they were having problems which started in small situations. She admitted that she felt like they weren’t mature enough at the time so they had to let go.</p><p>“I feel like hindi na talaga siya healthy and na hihinder namin yung growth ng isa’t-isa. Hindi na kami umuusad and I feel like wala pa kami sa tamang position nung time na yun. She explained how she joined PBB while her ex-partner succeeded in their own endeavor as well.</p><p>“Feeling ko kung hindi namin ni let go yun, wala ako dito ngayon sa PBB kasi iisipin ko yung mararamdaman niya if papasok ako sa PBB. Siya din, wala siya sa situation ngayon sa success na meron siya ngayon, feeling ko wala siya doon kung kami pa rin ngayon,” she claimed.</p><p>Despite this, she maintained that their situation is different from the letter sender’s situation so results may vary. Mika didn’t disclose who she was referring to but fans made their guesses in the comment section for the show.   </p>
