<p>ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Karen Davila was able to witness the Great Migration during her trip to Tanzania.</p><p>&quot;THE GREAT ANIMAL MIGRATION! What a spiritual &amp; surreal experience! We cried. We were in shock. Overwhelmed. Only God could do this!&quot; she posted on her Instagram page.</p><p>Karen relayed that the phenomenon lasted for hours. &quot;Described by the locals as one of the LARGEST RIVER CROSSINGS they have seen in recent years, this lasted more than 3 hours of hundreds of thousands of wildebeests crossing the Mara River, side of the Serengeti,&quot; she shared.</p><p>Sharing a clip of the animals crossing the Mara River, the Kapamilya journalist relayed that millions of animals cross the river annually. &quot;Every year, an estimated 2 million wildebeest, zebra and other herbivores trek from Southern Serengeti to search for food &amp; water in the lush greens of the Masai Mara. The most dangerous - crossing the Mara River where predators await,&quot; Karen said.</p><p>She concluded her post, saying: &quot;Truly, a MUST SEE. You cannot blame anybody. Kapag ikaw if you fail, you can&#x27;t look at other things, you just have to look at what your role is in that,&#x27;&quot; she recalled.</p><p>Karen went on: &quot;Number 2, my mother told me: &#x27;Karen wala akong mapapamana sa&#x27;yong alahas, pera, lupa, pero if you finish your schooling, you can be anything you want to be but nothing will be served to you on a silver platter. So parang I knew I wasn&#x27;t entitled to anything. I think that was the mental resilience that I had when I started my career which was in GMA 7 by the way, then eventually I moved to [ABS-CBN].&quot;</p><p>Karen has been working on television for three decades now.</p>
