<p>Judy Ann Santos took to social media to express her gratitude for two meaningful books she recently received.</p><p>&quot;2 importanteng libro ang natanggap ko kahapon.. Ang isa, galing sa isa sa pinakamamahal kong national artist, sir Ricky Lee na may lagda niya,&quot; she shared on her Instagram page.</p><p>The actress recounted how Ricky and director Joel Lamangan trusted her to play her first mature role in the television series, <em>Sabel.</em></p><p>&quot;Si sir Ricky and direk Joel Lamangan ang unang nagtiwala sa akin na gumanap bilang Sabel, isang seryoso at mature na role ang pinagkatiwala nila sa akin kaya habang buhay kong tatanawin ang utang na loob na yun sa kanila,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>The second was a commemorative coffee table book from the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), celebrating its 50th anniversary.</p><p>&quot;Pangalawang libro.. coffee table book mula sa MMFF at MMDA bilang marka sa 50th year Anniversary. Isang milestone ang naganap sa akin. Sa lahat ng mga directors, producers, writers at jury ng MMDA AT MMFF, maraming, maraming salamat po,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>Reflecting on her journey, Judy Ann remarked that dreams do come true with perseverance.</p><p>&quot;Hindi nyo alam kung gaano nyo tinupad ang mga pangarap ng isang batang nagpapatihulog sa bundok para lang gayahin si Julie Vega sa pelikula nyang<em> Mga Mata ni Anghelita. </em>Patunay ito na walang imposible, kahit napakalaki ng pangarap mo, basta alam mo ang gusto mo at wala kang tinatapakang mga tao at pantay ang tingin mo sa lahat, magugulat ka na lang isang araw narating mo na pala ang pangarap mo,&quot; she stated.</p>
