<p>Angel Locsin broke her silence on social media as thousands of Filipinos today, September 21, staged the Trillion Peso March to express their sentiments on the anomalous flood control projects plaguing the country. </p><p>Angel, who is known for being outspoken for her political beliefs and for supporting various outreach projects helping victims of natural disasters and conflicts, has been absent from social media for the past few years. She only briefly resurfaced last month to express her support for Joaquin Arce, her stepson, as he signed up with Star Magic.</p><p>&quot;Today, I&#x27;m breaking my social media silence. To all Filipinos fighting corruption - may God give you more strength to keep going,&quot; Angel began her post.</p><p>She recalled what she felt as she watched the senate blue ribbon committee interview various personalities involved in the flood control projects.</p><p>&quot;Watching the hearings, I couldn&#x27;t help but remember the messages and news of people begging for help. Families with homes washed away, parents who lost their work, lives lost to floods/typhoons.</p><p>&quot;Naiiyak ako sa galit. kasi pwede pa lang hindi sila naghirap. Pwede pa lang walang nasaktan. Pwede pa lang walang namatay,&quot; the actress expressed her dismay.</p><p>Even as she is saddened by the events, she encouraged people to speak up and let their thoughts be heard.</p><p>&quot;Ang bigat.
