Ryan Bang shared his year-end bonding moment with his dad, who he fondly calls Daddy Bang, in his latest YouTube vlog.&quot;Ang daming nagtatanong sa comment section kung kailan daw ako mag-dinner with my dad. Today dinala ko daddy ko para mag-mukbang kami,&quot; he shared.Ryan bonded with his dad over various dishes. &quot;Ito &#x27;yung favorite restaurant ng tatay ko. Kakain kami ng Korean street food kasama tropa niya,&quot; he relayed.After dining, Ryan and his dad played billiards. &quot;&#x27;Yung daddy ko kasi sobrang mahilig niya mag-billiard. Kaya samahan niyo ako libutin at mag-reminisce while I spend time with my mom,&quot; he remarked.Back in April 2024, Ryan opened up about his difficult childhood in Korea. In an interview with Karen Davila, Ryan shared that his family used to live a comfortable life before experiencing financial struggles.&quot;Pinanganak po ako na okay na okay. Daddy ko po meron siyang tatlong bilyaran. Billiard player po ang daddy ko. Champion siya, meron siya maraming awards. Ang mommy ko po hindi siya nagtatrabaho kasi malaking kita naman daddy ko so super meron po kami bahay, pinapaaral nila ako golf, horseback riding, meron po kami kabayo nun,&quot; he shared.But when the 1997 Asian financial crisis happened, his dad&#x27;s business was very much affected. &quot;Tapos 7 years old ako meron kami [sa] Korea International Monetary Fund [crisis], bumagsak so walang naglalaro ng billiard,&quot; Ryan said.Following the downfall of his dad&#x27;s business, Ryan recalled how his parents started to argue about money matters often.&quot;So nag-divorce po sila so nung naghiwalay sila, grade 4 ako kasi sobrang ganda ng bahay tapos lumipat kami condo two-bedroom, tapos lumipat kami one-bedroom and then lumipat kami sa second floor na maliit na condo one room, wala kaming kwarto, studio,&quot; Ryan relayed.The Kapamilya host shared that he chose to stay with his mother after his parents got divorced.&quot;Grade 4 [ako], grabe &#x27;yung trabaho [ni mommy] nung bata pa ako. Marami po siyang work sa insurance, naghugas pinggan siya sa octopus restaurant,&quot; he shared.When Ryan was in Grade 7, his mom was already having a hard time with the cost of living and decided to send him to the Philippines.&quot;&#x27;Yung best friend niya, nung medyo may kaya pa ang mommy ko tinulungan pala ng mommy ko &#x27;yung kaibigan niya tapos &#x27;yung kaibigan niya may negosyo dito, yumaman dahil sa pera ng mommy ko so nag-favor &#x27;yung mommy ko, &#x27;Pwede [diyan] muna tumira ang anak ko?&#x27; Kaibigan ng mommy ko may asawa pero walang anak so parang inampon nila ako,&quot; Ryan relayed.Now, Ryan is a successful television host of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime">It&#x27;s Showtime</a> and also an entrepreneur. He opened a new restaurant called Paldo Korean Fine Dining Restaurant in Quezon City last year.
