Rita Daniela reveals she no longer talks to Ken Chan: ‘We’re not friends anymore’

<p>Kapuso actress and singer Rita Daniela revealed that she is no longer in touch with her former on screen partner, Ken Chan. We&#x27;re not friends anymore,” Rita said.</p><p>She then expressed how she once considered him as her “best friend” and was someone who was “very special” to her at some point. The Kapuso star maintained that she is hoping that Ken is doing well wherever he may be. </p><p>“But, yeah... I hope na maging okay din siya, you know,” </p><p>“And his whole family niya. I&#x27;ll pray for him,” she said.</p><p>Rita then shared a little more details about why they aren’t friends anymore–– expressing how much they tried to work it out.</p><p>“Diyos ko, alam niyo naman yung mga past issues namin. Kayo na lang mang-connect the dots… Basta, we tried to be, you know, we tried to work it out as a friend, as friends,” she expressed.</p><p>“But it just happens to be that, you know, we&#x27;re not friends anymore. And I&#x27;m, of course, I&#x27;m very sad with that,” she continued. </p><p>When asked to give a comment about the issue Ken’s involved in, Rita admitted that she was surprised and at the same time thought she knew him well enough.</p><p>“I don&#x27;t know kasi feeling ko, kahit malaman ko rin naman nang maaga, makakatulong ba ako? Parang hindi na naman din ata.</p><p>“So, I think the best thing that I can do for him right now is just to pray for him. That&#x27;s all. That&#x27;s it. Yung yung pinakatulong na puwede na natin magagawa,” she continued. </p><p>The Kapuso star then revealed that she was almost an investor to Ken’s previous business but didn’t push through because of something she didn’t divulge any further. </p><p>Previously, Rita proudly announced her relationship to the public with her now-boyfriend, Mclaude Guadaña. She shared that it was her that made the first move and the rest was history for their blossoming relationship. </p><p>Meanwhile, Ken was charged with syndicated estafa by a complainant who allegedly gave around ₱14 million pesos for his business, Café Claus. Since then, authorities have attempted to serve the actor with a warrant of arrest at his house in Quezon City back in 2024. </p>
