Barbie Hsu’s family refutes reports, rumors on inheritance feud involving DJ Koo

<p>The family of the late Taiwanese star and <em>Meteor Garden</em> actress Barbie Hsu has denied allegations of an inheritance feud involving them and her husband, Koo Jun-Yup, also known as DJ Koo.</p><p>In a report shared by <em>The Korea Times,</em> the family publicly rejected claims suggesting a dispute over the inheritance Barbie left behind. They described the reports as harmful speculation and emphasized that they maintain a good relationship with DJ Koo.</p><p>“I detest lawsuits. They waste people and money,” Barbie’s mother, S Mom, said, according to The Korea Times. “I now call Koo Jun-yup my son. He is my son. Koo gave my sister pure love and real happiness. Our family is grateful to him,” she said. “He is our family. As long as I think like this, my heart will calm down, so I really appreciate my brother-in-law!” Dee said in a post.</p><p>Previously, DJ Koo issued a public statement as speculative reports about the inheritance emerged, following estimates that Barbie’s estate was worth no less than 1 billion New Taiwan dollars (approximately $32 million).</p><p>“I’m enduring excruciating pain and grief, and I have neither the strength nor the will to speak,” he said. “The inheritance represents the result of Hsu’s lifelong effort to protect her family.
