Veteran actress Vangie Labalan has passed away. According to her son, Carlo, his mother died at noon,  February 12, in Australia after being admitted to a hospital. Her death was also announced by Carlo in a Facebook post: “With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Vangie Labalan (Ma. Christina Bonghanoy Labalan). She passed away today in Australia due to illness, surrounded by those dearest and nearest to her heart. Her memories will forever remain in our hearts.”“To everyone who know her, love her, and was touched by her kindness, we extend our deepest gratitude. She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.”“She will be coming home soon. Further details regarding her wake and funeral services will be shared in the coming days. Thank you for your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.” Vangie had just turned 83 last January 20. Her last project was a guesting in ABS-CBN’s primetime series &quot;FPJ’s Batang Quiapo&quot;.<div> </div>
