K Brosas reacts to Alvin Aragon's comment on her support for her lesbian daughter: 'May ambag ka ba na kahit noong pre-school?'

<p>Another celebrity has spoken up against the controversial remarks made by Alvin Aragon, husband of former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, regarding parents who support their children who came out as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.</p><div> </div><p>Comedian-singer K Brosas took to social media to react after Alvin mentioned her, rapper Gloc-9, and actor Ian Veneracion in an interview, questioning their roles as parents for accepting their children’s identities.</p><div> </div><p>“Galit na galit? Gustong manakit, Kuya? Alam ko trending ka for how many weeks na ba or days ba? Hindi ko na alam. Ayaw ko sana magsalita eh pero kasi binanggit mo pangalan ko, Kuya, binanggit mo kami. Parang kinondena mo kami dahil tanggap namin mga anak namin? Ang mabuting tatay ay yung nagagalit na bakit ka bakla eh lalaki ka na ginawa ng Diyos. Sino ang mabuting tatay?” Alvin angrily said.</p><div> </div><p>He further mentioned: “Si Gloc-9 tuwang tuwa, ginawan pa ng kanta ang anak niya. Ayon ba ay ikinalulugod ng Diyos? Palakpakan mo (claps) yung lalaki mong anak na ginawa Niya na nagpakabakla, woo! Si K Brosas, tuwang tuwa. May ambag ka ba kahit noong pre-school? Nagbigay ka ba ng baon? Charot lang. ‘Di ba? Kasi mayroon ka pang palakpak. Iba yung galit mo Kuya,” K said.</p><div> </div><p>K shared that when her daughter, Crystal, came out as lesbian, she also received mixed reactions. However, she noted that the anger Alvin expressed was different.</p><div> </div><p>“Nag-come out yung anak ko at sinuportahan ko, hindi naman lahat pinalakpakan ako. Marami rin naman na mangilan ngilan na siyempre of course, mga katulad mo, na hardcore na Christian. Although marami rin akong kilala na mga Christian na may respeto naman. Pero ikaw kasi Kuya, iba yung galit mo,” K said.</p><div> </div><p>Trying to lighten her emotions, she quipped: “Huwag ka magaalala kasi feeling ko one of these days makakatikim ka rin ng palakpak, sa mukha. Charot lang!”</p><div> </div><p>K also noted how Alvin always cited the Bible: “Lagi mo pa minemention yung Bible. Ayaw kong pagusapan yung Bible kasi lagi niya binabanggit yung Sodom and Gomorrah. Yung totoo Kuya? Nandoon ka ba? Baka mayroon ka? Sa totoo lang. Dinadaan ko lang sa joke. Yung galit niya sa buong miyembro ng LGBTQIA+. Hindi lang sa LGBTQIA+, pati yung galit niya sa pananamit, yung mga songs and everything. So, ilan na lang kayong pupunta sa langit? Pito?”</p><div> </div><p>While delivering her message with humor, K did not hide her frustration over what she described as Alvin’s sweeping anger toward members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as his criticisms about clothing, music, and self-expression.</p><div> </div><p>“Naniniwala ako na si Lord ay accommodating. Hindi Siya magtatanong na kapag namatay ako, ang titingnan Niya laman ng puso ko. Makikita Niya na hindi perpekto ito pero at least ganito. Ganoon ang feeling ko,” K expressed.</p><div> </div><p>“Hindi Niya tatanungin na ‘Ilang beses ka sumayaw ng ‘Spaghetting pababa’? Gumiling ka ‘di ba? Ilang beses nakita yung kuyukut mo sa shorts’?’ (laughs) ‘Di ba? I mean, come on. Naniniwala ako na mayroon tayong Panginoon na accommodating kasi feeling ko parang kayo lang. Nakalagay nga sa Bible, kung Bible ang paguusapan na ‘Love thy Neighbor.’ Walang nakalagay doon na ‘love thy neighbor pwera sa mga bading at mga tomboy.’ ‘Di ba? Ang hirap eh! Ang hirap anuhin kasi kung literal na pagusapan ang bibliya, hahaba,” she said.</p><div> </div><p>“Ang sasabihin ko lang na hangga’t wala kang inaapakan na tao, naniniwala ako sa sariling relationship kay Lord. Wala tayong pakialamanan doon kasi personal relationship natin iyon mapa-bakla ka man, tomboy, halamang dagat. It’s between me and Him. Wala dapat humusga,” she continued.</p><div> </div><p>Addressing Alvin directly, K urged him to tone down his statements and refrain from judging her as a mother.</p><div> </div><p>“Kuya, dahan dahan din. Pwede ka magsabi ng opinion mo pero para idrag mo yung name na parang akala mo ang sama namin na magulang, medyo naka-ano ka doon, Kuya. (laughs) Ulitin ko, love thy neighbor, nasa bibliya iyan and di ba nakalagay sa bibliya ‘God is love.,’” K said.</p><div> </div><p>“Again, respeto lang sa atin sa isa’t isa bilang tao at Kuya, sana kumalma ka (hums) at huwag mo husgahan ang pagpalaki ko sa anak ko. Uulitin ko na at least hindi siya criminal, hindi nag-adik. Alam ko may mga nega pa rin rito (sa comment section) pero wala akong pakialam!”</p><div> </div><p>Alvin previously faced backlash over his comments surrounding Izzy’s departure from the SexBomb Girls and her absence from the group’s recent reunion concerts. He has since drawn further criticism for his statements about the LGBTQIA+ community and Izzy&#x27;s relationship with her eldest child, Sofia Trazona.</p><div> </div>
