EXCLUSIVE: PBB Collab 2.0 Ultimate 8 plan to use prizes for their families and chosen charities

<p>As<em> </em><a href="http://pbb.abs-cbn.com"><em><strong><u>Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0</u></strong></em></a> officially named its winners, the Ultimate 8 housemates opened up about how they plan to use their cash prizes.</p><p>In an exclusive interview with<strong> PUSH ABS-CBN</strong>, Kapamilya housemate Lella Ford and Kapuso housemate Caprice Cayetano, who were named this season’s Big Winners, shared that a significant portion of their ₱1 million prize will go to charity of their choice.</p><p>“Half of that, donate po talaga. Mayroon po kami ginawa inside PBB, yung Kakamay Movement. Tumulong po kami sa deaf community, spread awareness po and natuto rin po kami paano mag-FSL (Filipino Sign Language) so doon po gusto ko rin spend money ko doon. Ang dami pong nangangailangan sa sa ating bansa kaya I want to help the deaf community and other communities as well,” Lella shared.</p><div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1772329551497NEW THUMB (8).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div><strong> </strong></div><p>Caprice echoed the same sentiment, saying she plans to both save and give back.: “Ang gagawin ko po sa prize money ko yung iba po isesave and yung iba po ibibigay ko po sa ibang tao. Magbibigay po ako ng help. Yung mga matitira po sa akin, I’ll gonna buy some clothes and make libre to my friends.”</p><div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1772329373555NEW THUMB (5).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div><strong> </strong></div><p>For third place Ashley Sarmiento, her plans are still dependent on her family’s financial needs.</p><p>“Di ko pa alam sa gagawin ko pa. Depende sa financial status ng family pero if ever itatabi ko po muna siguro and magiipon pero if I can give naman po, I will give back,” Ashley said.</p><div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1772329334737NEW THUMB (4).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div> </div><p>Her fellow third placer Joaquin Arce shared that he would continue supporting charitable causes, particularly those close to his heart.</p><p>“With my prize money I would always do what I do with my money. I plan to donate. I plan to save or invest and spend something for my family and friends,” Joaquin said.</p><p>He added, “I have a particular charity that my heart goes to and that would be the deaf community dahil siguro po alam niyo po na bingi po ako sa kanan kong tenga and to be honest, they are the closest community to my heart.”</p><div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1772329279797NEW THUMB (3).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><strong> </strong></div><p>Meanwhile, Princess Aliyah and Miguel Vergara also expressed their desire to give back while treating their loved ones.</p><p>“Ang balak ko gawin is i-spoil yung family ko and din yung kaunti sa sarili ko and gusto ko rin makapagbigay sa ibang tao so siguro I’ll donate sa mga organizations. Mayroong organization din sa PBB, yung Kakamay, so I’ll definitely do that,” Princess said. “Ang very malapit sa puso ko and talagang ginagawa ko every birthday ko is nagpapakain po ako sa orphanage na malapit sa amin.”</p><div> </div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1772329237258NEW THUMB (2).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div> </div><p>Miguel shared similar plans, with organizations catering with fur babies on his mind: “Siguro sa prize money ko po, I’ll give to charity po and I’ll treat my family outside and kung ano matira, sa akin po.
