The event was led by Aunor’s son, Ian de Leon.</p><p>“Hindi ako makapaniwala ang dami pa rin nagmamahal kay mommy. Maraming salamat sa patuloy na nagmamahal kay mommy,” De Leon said in an interview.</p><p>Also present was De Leon’s wife Jennifer and children, director Adolfo Alix Jr., and veteran actress Boots Anson Roa Rodrigo. While invited, his siblings were not in attendance. </p><p>“I told them. They were informed about this. I gave them info sa GC (group chat). I decided to do this to fast-track things. Among the first in the pipeline is a museum they hope to open by June.</p><p>“We are aggressive in doing this, not for me, not for anyone, it is for mom — and what she has left behind. We don’t want the legacy to die down. For future generations to be like her — she was not privileged, she was just a small individual selling at the train station, but eventually became a superstar and national artist.” </p><p>Apart from items they are curating from her decades long career, they are also welcoming memorabilia from Noranians. </p><p>“Noranians, if you have pictures, albums, clippings, they can share — we will put your name in the museum if you can share or donate,” De Leon invited.</p><p>“We are working hard to gather them.
