Jake Cuenca open to stripping down for a role: ‘Nothing gets in my way of telling the story’

Given the right audience for it, yeah (I will do it). Because for me, once I accept the project and dedicate myself, nothing gets in my way of telling the story. That&#x27;s always my mindset. I will do it or die. So it&#x27;s something that needs to be agreed upon before we even go down this road. You have to adapt,” he shared.</p><p>Jake also looked back on his time as a member of the sexy boy group ASAP Coverboys.</p><p>“It was fun kasi we had a tour and we got to do things that I would never have imagined like doing a concert. We were not even singers and dancers. That was a fun time,” Jake shared.</p><p>ASAP Coverboys made hearts swoon in 2006, featuring members Jake Cuenca, Zanjoe Marudo, Rafael Rosell, Jon Avila, Victor Basa, Will Devaughn, John James Uy, Ron Morales, and Marvin Wijangco (Raymundo).</p><p>During the episode, Jake also gamely took on the blind box segment, drawing questions from a box and answering them without revealing what they were. In one of them, he said: “Bumalik ka na lang sa modeling, hindi ka magaling.”</p><p>Giving more clues and context to the mystery question, Jake added that it’s important to grow and push your limits.</p><p>“If you stick in there, if you hang in there, if you do your best to bring out your full potential, there will come a time, things will come full circle. You&#x27;ll be able to prove yourself in front of that person. I was able to. So if I was able to, anyone can. You get to vindicate yourself on a grand stage, too. Sometimes it comes in the form of, It&#x27;s an award night and that person&#x27;s there.
