Jerald Napoles defends Kim Molina from disrespectful online remark: ‘Her body, her choice’

<p>Actress and singer Kim Molina took to social media to thank her husband, Jerald Napoles, for defending her after a netizen crossed the line with an unsolicited comment about her body and their plans as a married couple. </p><p>Known for being fitness enthusiasts, Kim and Jerald have long shared glimpses of their workouts, training routines, and healthy lifestyle online. Alongside the support they receive, however, the couple has also faced intrusive remarks from some social media users regarding Kim’s physique, weight loss journey, and her plans of having kids with Jerald in the future.  </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2026/3/2/kim-molina-and-jerald-napoles-tie-the-knot-in-a-beach-wedding-in-bohol-1050"><strong><u>READ: Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles tie the knot in a beach wedding in Bohol</u></strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>In a Facebook post on May 9, Kim shared a screenshot of a comment from a netizen who tagged Jerald and suggested that he should get his wife pregnant so she would supposedly stop her “kembot.&quot;</p><p>“Buntisin mo para mawala kembot hahahah,” the commenter wrote. </p><p>Jerald did not let the remark pass and firmly stood his ground against the commenter to respect his wife and her decisions regarding her own body and future. </p><p>“Paki galang yung asawa ko. Kung makautos ka ng buntisin walang respeto eh. Buti na lang nandyan ka, Jerald Napoles. Forever grateful for you.”  </p><p>Kim later elaborated on her sentiments in the comments section, explaining why Jerald’s response meant so much to her. </p><p>“Super appreciate all your kind words. Hindi ko na talaga pinapansin mga negative comments and bash, but I shared my husband’s reply to show how important it is to have people we love, support us in decisions we make for ourselves. Importante yun. Kung hindi man from a partner, but also from parents, kapatid, o kaibigan. We need to respect each other’s wishes and personal goals — 💯” </p><p>The actress also clarified that her fitness journey goes beyond aesthetics, emphasizing that her goal is to stay healthy and prepared for the future plans she and Jerald have set privately as a couple. </p><p>“I aim to inspire women like me who find it hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Working on myself now, trying to be open, sharing my progress. Doing my best to stay fit and ready para sa kung ano mang plano naming personal ng asawa ko in the future. Mga planong sa amin na lang, that hopefully people respect.” </p><p>Fans and fellow netizens quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support, commending Jerald for speaking up and applauding the couple for promoting respect and healthy boundaries in relationships. </p><p>“Exactly! Very good example Jerald and Kim to our younger generations. It’s a gradual increase in calories after a deficit to restore metabolism, boost energy, performance, and maintain leanness without rebound weight gain,” she added. </p><p>Kim admitted that she is still adjusting her reverse diet based on her workouts and recovery. </p><p>“Because progress isn’t just about eating less, it’s about knowing when to eat more,” she wrote. “Quiet discipline. Consistent choices. And learning when to give your body more – not less.” </p><p>Kim and Jerald tied the knot in a beach wedding in Bohol last March. Before exchanging vows, the couple also showcased their shared passion for fitness through a unique prenuptial shoot inspired by their participation in a Hyrox race in South Korea last November.</p>
