EXCLUSIVE: Miss Universe Philippines Bea Millan-Windorski shares possible plans after MU journey

<p>Miss Universe Philippines Bea Millan-Windorski continues to expand her platform beyond the pageant stage after being named the newest ambassador of local wellness brand New Moon PH, joining former titleholders Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey and Ahtisa Manalo</p><p>In an exclusive interview with<strong> PUSH ABS-CBN</strong> during<strong></strong> her official launch, Bea expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to further promote her advocacies through a wider platform.</p><p>“I feel really grateful that I&#x27;m able to continue the work I&#x27;ve already been doing but with a much larger platform. And I&#x27;m really appreciative to our sponsors and partners like New Moon Philippines because they provided us with an incredible opportunity to promote holistic women&#x27;s health all across the Philippines. Additionally, as we&#x27;re approaching Pride Month, it&#x27;s important that we promote hormonal balance across all of our LGBT brothers and sisters,” Bea said.</p><div> <img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1781313731519NEW THUMB (61).jpg" style="width:660px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><div> </div><p>While her preparations for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant have yet to begin, Bea admitted feeling both pressure and excitement about representing the Philippines.</p><p>“I would really say that pressure is a privilege. The fact that so many Filipino fans care so deeply about Miss Universe Philippines means that we have so much support. So, I&#x27;m very excited to continue my training and working really hard to make the Philippines proud,” she said. </p><p>Bea added that she wanted to shine a spotlight on causes close to her heart, particularly environmental conservation, the rights of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), and the passage of the SOGIE Equality Bill.</p><p>“It&#x27;s my environmental conservation work especially with the pawikan. But also, advocating for the SOGIE bill, the passage to make sure that our especially trans brothers and sisters are treated with proper respect and dignity. So, our Ate Ali was really the one to help us bloom as women. So, I&#x27;ve gotten to chat a lot more with Ahtisa since Coordination Night.” Bea said. </p><p>“One of her biggest pieces of advice is to create room for yourself. That this is an incredibly stressful and busy journey but you&#x27;ll take a moment to understand the beauty of it if you also make sure that you&#x27;re taking care of yourself,” she added.</p><p>While Miss Universe has opened doors for many titleholders in the entertainment industry, Bea said pursuing a career in show business has never been among her priorities.</p><p>“Hindi talaga kasi it&#x27;s never been my goal to be an artista.
