Karylle gives her take on Senate drama; wants to talk with uncle Robin Padilla

<p>Kapamilya actress and singer Karylle expressed her frustration over the recent drama that happened in the Senate of the Philippines. Go to work, be efficient, things need to be done. People are dying because of the corruption. I’m so mad like iharap niyo sa amin yan–– asan na ang mga yan?” she expressed.</p><div><br/></div><p>The Kapamilya singer-actress added how senators should just do their jobs. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Pumasok kayo. Tapos hoy ang galing galing nung isa pumasok siya kasi hindi niya na daw kinaya. Like this guy had an announcement video about why it’s important to go to work and it’s not about taking sides–– just go to work and do your job. But, you know, if I do see him, I would have a conversation. That’s why also I don’t like closing doors and doing periods. I love conversations. If I do see him, I will talk to him about it and I will let you know,” she said.</p><div><br/></div><p>While she hasn’t spoken to Robin, the <em>It’s Showtime</em><em></em> host revealed that she previously talked to his wife, Mariel Rodriguez, a long time ago. </p><div><br/></div><p>“That’s why I like having an open door kasi how else would we have conversations with these people?” she added. </p><div><br/></div><p>Previously, Karylle has reminded voters to be mindful of who they’re voting for and to demand that politicians attend debates so they can know their positions on certain political topics.</p><div><br/></div><p>“Let’s educate the voters and make sure that we are all educated… As a voter, you should use your own brain. Discernment, I think, is the word I like. Even in religion, you have to discern for yourself,” she previously said.</p>

<p>Karylle is open to having a conversation with her uncle, Senator Robin Padilla.</p>
