<p>MANILA — Ian de Leon pushed back against statements made by his sister Lotlot de Leon, insisting he was not the one being dishonest.</p><p>During the press conference for the mystery drama “40 Days,” Lotlot accused Ian of making untrue statements during a recent interview with Boy Abunda, particularly regarding the one-person corporation honoring their late mother, National Artist Nora Aunor, </p><p>“Enough with the lies? You stop. You stop telling lies especially to my dad,” he posted in the stories of his Facebook Page IDL Arts and Paintings.</p><p>Ian clarified when he told Lotlot he was not ready for the foundation because he wanted to fix the legalities first.</p><p>He also explained the reason behind his Facebook post.</p><p>“That time I said I’m not ready to commit dahil gusto kong ayusin muna nila yung legal papers nyan. I know the plans and my suggestion to them is that fix the legalities first before launching it. Days and days after launching I was monitoring their SEC registration but it’s still not yet up. Thankfully, this person asked us to dinner that I can’t decline,” he posted.</p><p>Ian again disputed the claim that he did not inform his siblings of his plans. He also posted a screenshot of a Zoom meeting to support his statement.</p><p>“He never told us anything? So wala na yung Zoom meeting ng dalawang beses sila umattend? Wala nadin yung during 40 days na nagdecline ka? At sinungaling din ba si Tita T. na tinawagan ka to join us pero sabi mo no na kase may work ka pa naman at inuna kase akong kausapin? Why? Is it because it was me? Why,” he said.</p><p>Ian also argued he was on Fast Talk for a Father’s Day episode and did not say anything ill against his siblings.</p><p>In the interview, Ian said he was Nora Aunor’s legal heir but stressed that he intended to be fair to his siblings.</p><p>He also did not accuse anyone of trying to claim the inheritance and expressed hope that their family would eventually reconcile.</p><p>“Sakin na lahat? After the state funeral when five of us are talking. I was clear, that told you guys na tulong-tulong tayong lima dito at maging transparent sa isat isa and everything will take time and everything will be divided equally. Pero ang palabas is madamot ako? Why? Sino ang may inaagaw? I didn’t say na may inaagaw kayo. Why say that? To put me down,” he said.</p><p>“Who put down the siblings? Did you even watch the whole show before reacting? Kayo lang ba pwede magpa-interview? I don’t go out just like that. It’s for Father’s Day episode. Tinuring mo kong kapatid? Tinuring din kitang parang totoong kapatid!
