BINI Mikha adopts rescued puppy: 'I knew you'd bring the brightest light into my life'

<p>BINI Mikha is once again showing her love for animals after adopting a rescued puppy, a move that has earned praise from both fans and animal welfare advocates. </p><p>The heartwarming story was shared on June 22 by Pawssion Project Foundation, which revealed that Mikha welcomed the puppy into her home earlier this year after going through the organization’s formal adoption process. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/6/21/bini-surprises-blooms-with-coachella-set-at-signals-world-tour-kickoff-0906"><strong>READ: BINI surprises Blooms with Coachella set at ‘Signals’ World Tour kickoff</strong></a></div><p>According to the animal welfare organization, fellow BINI member Sheena was the one who initially reached out to express Mikha’s interest in adopting a rescued dog. </p><p>After completing the necessary screening and interview process, Mikha personally visited the shelter to meet the dogs available for adoption. </p><p>While she initially did not have a specific pet in mind, one particular rescue puppy quickly caught her attention. </p><p>At the shelter, Mikha met a puppy named Muffin, one of the rescued puppies of another rescue dog named Mama Napay and instantly formed a connection that would eventually lead to adoption. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2026/1/18/jodi-sta-maria-reflects-on-a-pet-s-unconditional-love-after-doing-a-fainting-prank-on-her-dog-z-1122"><strong>READ: Jodi Sta. Thank you for giving Po a home and a family,&quot; Pawssion Project Foundation wrote.   </p><p>“Thank you @bini_sheena for advocating for these lives who need a furever home 🥺 Thank you @bini_mikha for opening your house to one of the rescues!! Maria reflects on a pet’s unconditional love after doing a ‘fainting prank’ on her dog Zandro</strong></a></div><p>Alongside the announcement, Mikha also penned a touching personal letter dedicated to Po, sharing the special moment she knew he was meant to be part of her family. </p><p>“To my dearest Po, </p><p>Let&#x27;s start first with why I chose you. </p><p>You were such a little baby when I first saw you, but when our eyes met, I knew you&#x27;d bring the brightest light into my life. You looked so sad yet playful towards your siblings and everyone around you,” Mikha recalled. </p><p>She also reflected on how quickly Po had grown since joining her family and promised to continue caring for him with love. </p><p>“You grew up so fast, you&#x27;re bigger than Shi Fu already. I&#x27;m grateful you&#x27;re a part of this family and for being a great and a little annoying brother to Shi Fu, Haru, and Nezu. I promise to take care of you, spoil you, and give you all the love you deserve. Mommy love you so much!” she wrote. </p><p>The post featured photos from Mikha’s first visit to the shelter, along with candid moments of her bonding with Po after bringing him home and snapshots of her caring for her newest fur baby who found a forever home.  </p>
