<p>For Cebuana beauty queen Nicole Borromeo, being named the first-ever Miss Worldwide Philippines feels like destiny as it brings two things she has always been passionate about—arts and beauty pageants.</p><p>During New Moon Philippines’ Super Supplement Supper event, Nicole told <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong></a> that she is honored to serve as the inaugural ambassador for the title.</p><p>“Being the first ever Miss Worldwide Philippines 2026 is actually something that means the world to me, Miss Worldwide actually, because from what I understand the title entails arts and culture, you get to be the ambassador for that,” Nicole said.</p><div><br/></div><div><iframe class="instagram-media instagram-media-rendered" id="instagram-embed-12" src="https://www.instagram.com/p/DYcM40-EpTz/embed/captioned/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=540&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Fod2-workbench-web.abs-cbn.com&amp;rp=%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A12%2C%22os%22%3A21431722.700000763%2C%22ls%22%3A452344.8000011444%2C%22le%22%3A452347.5%7D" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="1850" data-instgrm-payload-id="instagram-media-payload-12" scrolling="no" style="background:white;max-width:540px;width:calc(100% - 2px);border-radius:3px;border:1px solid rgb(219, 219, 219);box-shadow:none;display:block;margin:0px 0px 12px;min-width:326px;padding:0px"></iframe></div><script async="" src="//www.instagram.com/embed.js"></script><div><br/></div><p>Nicole added, ”You also get to watch Broadway, you get to like to encourage them, you get to encourage people to like to get into music, the arts and everything and that&#x27;s something that&#x27;s been close to my heart ever since I was younger.”</p><p>Miss Worldwide Philippines is the newest title under the recently established Artes World Organization, an international platform that aims to merge modern pageantry with performing arts, creativity, and cultural exchange.</p><p>Unlike traditional pageants, the organization focuses on immersive cultural experiences and creative engagement, with titleholders serving as global ambassadors for arts and culture while learning about theatrical productions, creative industries, and cultural heritage across different countries.</p><p>“If you&#x27;ve known me, you would know that when the title came, it just felt like destiny and I just can&#x27;t wait for what&#x27;s in store for us ahead,” she expressed.</p><div style="text-align:center"><strong><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:660px;display:block" width="660"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1782577586927Nicole-Borromeo.jpg" style="width:660px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="660"/><span class="fr-inner"><em>The Miss Philippines / Instagram </em></span></span></span></strong></div><p>Nicole had previously worked to encourage Pinoys to support the theater industry.</p><p>“We&#x27;re going to encourage more theater groups to come in and like just give a platform for Filipino talent, especially in performing arts because siyempre you know we&#x27;re already a karaoke country like singing alone is already part of us and we&#x27;re very emotional as Filipinos so getting the chance to elevate that with the platform is truly an honor so I can&#x27;t wait,” Nicole said.</p><p>In a previous interview, Nicole also opened up about why the title holds a special place in her heart.</p><p>“What makes Miss Worldwide so special to me is how it beautifully combines my love for pageantry with the world of musicals, arts, and culture. It creates a space where creatives and performers are not only seen, but truly celebrated,” she said.</p><p>She added, “I’ve always believed that art has the power to bring people together regardless of language or background, which is why I’m so honored to represent a platform that embraces different talents, passions, and stories.
