Maria recently took to social media to share her unforgettable experience exploring the Amazon rainforest.</p><p>On Instagram, the actress reflected on the vastness and ecological significance of the Amazon.</p><p>&quot;The Amazon is often called the lungs of the Earth covering about 6.7 million square kilometers across 9 countries. It is the largest rainforest on the planet, home to 10% of all known species, and contains the largest river system by volume.
