She shared that they intentionally chose the date because it was the same day she and Mikki first met. </p><p>“It would have been a romantic choice, one that has a sweet backstory. But then God had a different plan,” she wrote. </p><p>The actress went on to explain that during a routine nonstress test earlier in June, she experienced contractions, which she said she had never felt before in her life. Because of this, her obstetrician immediately advised her to be admitted for observation. </p><p>After settling into the hospital, Bettinna underwent an internal examination, which revealed she was already 1 centimeter dilated. At that point, she and Mikki decided to proceed with delivering the twins that same night on June 4, despite her only being 34 weeks pregnant. </p><p>Since this was already Bettinna’s fourth cesarean section, she also said in the video that she had the risk of uterine rupture. </p><p>“Funny because it was only the day before when we finally decided on their names. I wanted to fight for 36weeks (and the date I like), but I know I can&#x27;t live another day worrying something may be going on inside with them. I had to surrender that to the Lord. Whether 36 or 34, His timing is perfect to carry out His purposes.” </p><p>In the video, Bettinna also revealed that aside from being born prematurely, both babies were diagnosed with neonatal pneumonia, requiring them to stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) after birth. </p><p>During that period, Bettinna had to pump breastmilk and manually feed her newborns through a dropper feeder while waiting until they were strong enough to latch and breastfeed naturally. </p><p>As the twins slowly recovered, Bettinna and Mikki made sure to visit them constantly and personally care for them through kangaroo care, or skin-to-skin contact between parents and newborns. </p><p>Even through the uncertainty, Bettinna shared that her faith allowed her to remain at peace despite not fully understanding why things happened the way they did. </p><p>“Why 34weeks, Lord? I don’t know. I still don’t know till today. All I am sure of is 1.) God is sovereign and 2.) He is good. So I could rest peacefully not having answers to my why,&quot; she continued in the caption.  </p><p>Bettinna and Mikki named their twins Juanito Miguel and Antonino Davide, whom the celebrity mom described as “God’s grace and gifts” to their family. </p><p>After spending 16 days in the hospital, the couple was finally able to bring the twins home, where they were warmly welcomed by their older sisters, Amina and Gummy. </p><p>&quot;Our family of six is finally complete,&quot; she expressed in the video.  </p><p>Following her emotional post, friends and supporters flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages while praising Bettinna’s courage, faith, and strength throughout the experience. </p><p>“Congratulations Ms. Bettinna! You did such a wonderful job! Happy that you&#x27;re all well. 🤍❤️,” one wrote. </p><p>“My tears are literally falling. Praise God! He is so good. 👆🏻👑,” another added. </p><p>Before welcoming her twins, Bettinna previously suffered a miscarriage in 2022. At the time, shared an inspiring message for mothers who have experienced pregnancy loss.</p>
