<p>Catriona Gray is spending quality time with her mother, Mita Gray, in Spain.</p><p>On Instagram, the former Miss Universe shared snapshots from their trip to San Sebastian, where Catriona and her mom enjoyed scenic walks by the sea and a food-filled adventure.</p><p>&quot;First time in San Seb with my food buddy @mitagray. Morning walks by the sea,&quot; she wrote.</p><p>In the photos, Catriona and her mother can be seen strolling by the beach and exploring the city’s food scene.</p><p>Fans were quick to react to Catriona&#x27;s post.</p><p>&quot;Awwww I loveee that you’re in the Basque Country, I’m from there!!!! 😍❤️ hope you enjoy,&quot; one fan wrote.</p><p>&quot;Wow! Welcome to Japan, mama @mitagray!!” she wrote at that time.</p><p>Catriona shared highlights of their Japanese getaway, including a visit to her favorite restaurant in Tokyo.</p><p>“Discovered a field of wildflowers today in the middle of Tokyo and saw little blue butterflies,” she wrote in a separate post. “Mama @mitagray and I sat under a nearby tree in the shade and read and sipped our coffees and it was just a really, really wonderful morning.”</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2023/10/25/catriona-gray-brings-mom-to-japan-1512"><strong>READ: Catriona Gray brings mom to Japan</strong></a></div><p>Aside from her travels, Catriona has remained active in television and advocacy work.</p><p>She recently appeared on Thailand&#x27;s long-running reality competition <em>Academy Fantasia</em>, where she shared advice on making a strong first impression and staying memorable while remaining authentic. The show follows aspiring singers and actors as they compete for a spot in the entertainment industry.</p><p>Catriona was also recently named ambassador for Waves For Water Philippines. An event was held on June 30 to formally celebrate her appointment.</p><p>“What began with a single mission in Batangas has grown into years of shared advocacy. From disaster response efforts to community stories in Siquijor, every collaboration has strengthened our commitment to bringing clean water access to more Filipinos. Today, our journey with @catriona_gray enters a new chapter,” Waves For Water Philippines shared on social media.</p>
