Epy Quizon shares story of honesty after a TNVS driver returns lost phone: ‘Good people are still everywhere’

<p>Actor Epy Quizon shared a heartwarming encounter that restored his faith in humanity after a Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) driver went the extra mile to return the phone he accidentally left behind. </p><p>In an Instagram post on July 10, Epy recounted how he lost his phone during a ride, only to have it safely returned by his driver, whom he identified as Jhun Diaz. </p><p>&quot;Meet Mr. Jhun Diaz, my Grab driver—and today’s reminder that good people are still everywhere,&quot; he began.  </p><p>The actor went on to explain that he had unknowingly left his phone inside the vehicle after getting off. With no way for either of them to contact one another, Jhun decided to stay near the area where he had dropped Epy off, hoping he would eventually realize the phone was missing.  </p><p>&quot;Almost three hours later, I finally noticed it was gone. There was no annoyance, no irritation about the inconvenience. Just genuine happiness that he could help.&quot; </p><p>Expressing his gratitude, Epy praised Jhun for his honesty and compassion. </p><p>“Acts of honesty like this deserve to be celebrated. Thank you, Mr. Jhun Diaz, for your kindness, integrity, and compassion. People like you restore our faith in humanity. ❤️” he ended. </p><p>The post quickly resonated with netizens, many of whom commended Jhun for his integrity. </p><p>&quot;You’re one in a million Mr. Jhun. Thank you very much for your good deed done on Mr Epy Quizon, one of my favorite actors, a very good one. May God bless you more.❤️,” one commenter wrote. </p><p>Another added, &quot;Good job, manong driver. Mabuhay ka! 🙌.&quot; </p><p>The heartwarming encounter became even more meaningful as it happened on the 14th death anniversary of Epy&#x27;s father, the late Comedy King Dolphy. </p><p>Later that day, Epy also paid tribute to his father through another Instagram post. </p><p>&quot;Of all the awards my father received throughout his lifetime, the greatest one was never placed on a shelf or displayed in a trophy case.
