Angel Locsin calls out Robin Padilla: ‘Tama na, Kuya. Gising na’

<p>Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin broke her silence as she called out actor-turned-politician Robin Padilla. Sabi mo pa nga, dinadalaw ka ng ex mo sa bundok,” she wrote.</p><p>She shared how happy she is to see the “old” Robin that she knew back then with the statement that he made. Despite this, she questioned where he was during the times she was being red-tagged. It could be recalled that Angel was red-tagged in the past by high-ranking military personnel. </p><p>“Ang tanong ko lang, nasaan ka nung panahong nirered-tag ako kahit alam mong hindi totoo? Actually, kasama mo pa nga at kachikahan yung mga nangre-red-tag. Naghugas-kamay at pumikit sa katotohanan,” she asserted.</p><p>The Kapamilya actress then expressed how the millions of voters put him in position because of his brave personality with him being a voice for the Muslim people. </p><p>“Isa sa mga pinakamalaking dahilan kung bakit ka binoto ng maraming Pilipino ay dahil inasahan nilang magiging matapang kang boses para sa mga kapatid nating Muslim. Pero bakit parang mas ipinaglalaban mo pa si Quiboloy? Naniniwala ka ba talaga na siya ang &#x27;appointed son of God?&#x27;” she questioned.</p><p>She expressed her disappointment with the different stances that Robin has been taking–– noting how he wasn’t the same person she met years ago. </p><p>“Isa ka sa pinaka-makabayang taong nakilala. Ikaw si Andres Bonifacio. Kaya nakakalungkot pag nakakabasa ako ng stand mo pagdating sa China. Galing sa hirap, nagtrababo ng maaga, tinangkilik at nakapagpasaya ng mga tao. Ang utang na loob natin ay sa ating Diyos at sa lahat ng Pilipino —hindi lamang sa isang tao,” she maintained. </p><p>“Tama na, Kuya. Gising na. Hindi pa huli ang lahat. @robinhoodpadilla,” she ended.</p><p>Fans of the actress expressed their support in the comments section of her post and shared that she is the real-life Darna. Other netizens are hopeful that her message will be well received by the senator. </p><p>“Lika na narda hanapin natin yung bato,” Angel’s husband, Neil Arce, expressed.</p><p>“Omg her last official post was in 2022 pero nagsalita siya opo nagsalita si Angel para sa bayan! Mabuhay ka,” a fan added.</p><p>Robin has yet to reply to Angel’s letter as of this writing. </p>
