<p>Online speculation surrounding Baron Geisler surfaced after his wife, Jamie Evangelista, appeared to publicly urge the actor to seek a sponsor for &#x27;drug rehabilitation&#x27; through a now-deleted Instagram comment. </p><p>Jamie commented on Baron&#x27;s recent collaborative Instagram post with an aesthetic clinic, which featured the actor undergoing a facial treatment. Although the comment has since been deleted, screenshots quickly spread across social media and were also reported by several local media outlets.  </p><p>In her remark, Jamie wrote: “Find a drug rehabilitation sponsor who can help you address the root cause of your problems. Some online users speculated that the actor may have experienced a relapse, although no confirmation has been made. </p><p>Despite the online buzz, the couple still follow each other on Instagram. At 14, I was doing hard core drugs already…like meth. It’s because I wanted to grow up so fast,” he admitted. </p><p>“There was a lot of parental control, but because of that parental control — I think abuse and the hitting — I would sneak out and join older groups of people and I really enjoyed the noise,” he added. </p><p>Baron also confessed that there were instances when he would take drugs before performing and admitted he eventually became addicted to the sense of power and entitlement that came with his lifestyle. </p><p>“I got addicted to that power, to the entitlement which I am not proud of,” he said. “Now, it makes me sick remembering those times.” </p><p>Before the recent social media posts, Baron had credited Jamie, who is a psychologist, for helping him stay on the path to recovery. </p><p>Speaking with Bianca Gonzalez on TFC&#x27;s <em>BRGY</em> last year, the actor described his wife as one of the biggest influences in his healing journey. </p><p>&quot;Si Jamie very instrumental kasi dahil sa kanya grounded ako. Pagdating sa bahay hindi ako artista. Taking care of the kids, our marriage, my life, my sobriety, and my career.
