Lovi Poe admits being more intentional now shes a mother

<p>Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe shared some of the lessons she learned after being a first-time mother to her daughter with husband Monty Blencowe. Now that she has a family of her own, she revealed how she takes her time now in considering the work that’s given to her. </p><p>“It’s like what I’m giving now is time kasi before my world revolves around work and it’s like wala akong ibang priorities and binabangga because trabaho lang talaga. But now, my whole family, they’ve definitely become my number one [priority],” she said.</p><p>“It’s just like everything that comes to me na work, even if I really really want to do it, it takes a lot of thinking and a lot of battles sa head ko na is this really something that I should be doing because it’s time away from my family. Now, I think it’s teaching me how to slow down and be even more present wherever I am–– I need to be present,” she added.</p><p>Lovi then told <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong></a><strong> </strong>how she works now–– bringing her daughter to the set. I’m just very lucky that my husband’s very supportive and he told me that he wants me to continue to still be who I am and who I want to be as an artist. It takes a lot of work and pagod talaga, but we try our best to make it work,” she explained. </p><p>When asked what viewers can expect from her in the future now that she’s with Star Magic, Lovi is hopeful that a “different kind” of her will be tapped.</p><p>“I think we’re gonna tap into a different kind of Lovi this time–– hopefully I get to do more action movies, action stories, thrillers, [and] comedy for a change. That’s something na I really want to explore,” she teased. </p>
