It remains unclear whether his stay in solitary confinement is temporary or will be extended. A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to discuss the reported incident, saying the agency does not comment on the &quot;conditions of confinement, disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.&quot; <div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17850441257741785044287826.jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Frazer Harrison/Getty Images </div>The music mogul is serving his 50-month sentence at the correctional facility after being convicted in October 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.   Last year, after a closely watched trial in Manhattan federal court, jurors found Diddy guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution. The charges stemmed from allegations involving drug-fueled, multi-day sexual encounters, referred to during the trial as &quot;freak offs&quot; or &quot;hotel nights,&quot; involving former girlfriends and male sex workers. Throughout the trial, several well-known celebrities were mentioned in court proceedings. However, being named did not necessarily mean they were accused of or connected to the crimes. As explained during jury selection, some names surfaced because the individuals attended parties where alleged incidents occurred, had social ties to Diddy, or were associated with people involved in the case. Among the high-profile personalities mentioned were Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye &quot;Ye&quot; West, Britney Spears, and Usher, among many others.  Diddy was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, offenses that could have resulted in a life sentence.    Despite being behind bars, he has reportedly been assigned work as a chaplain&#x27;s assistant, a role considered one of the more sought-after jobs at FCI Fort Dix. According to CBS News, the position typically involves maintaining the chaplain&#x27;s religious library, cleaning the office, and assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping. Diddy has also been placed in the prison&#x27;s Residential Drug Abuse Treatment Program (RDAP), the Bureau of Prisons&#x27; most intensive drug rehabilitation program. Diddy&#x27;s current projected release date is February 2028, which was previously moved up from April 2028. At the time, the Federal Bureau of Prisons did not explain the specific reason for the adjustment but said release dates may change because of factors such as &quot;good conduct time,&quot; credits earned through approved programs and activities, and credit for time already served before sentencing. As of writing, it is also unknown whether the reported altercation could affect Diddy&#x27;s projected release date.
