<p>MANILA -- Comedienne and television host Melai Cantiveros revealed that she and husband Jason Francisco quietly separated for nearly six months before reconciling.</p><p>The former &quot;Pinoy Big Brother&quot; grand winner opened up their breakup in the first episode of the online show, &quot;Hello Outside World,&quot; hosted by fellow PBB housemates Bianca Gonzalez and Esnyr.  </p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1785391891163Melai2.JPG" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">YouTube/ABS-CBN Entertainment</span></span></span></div><p>&quot;Ito, dito ko lang io-open talaga. Para ma-realize niyo lang na ang relationship talaga ay hindi &#x27;yung kapag mag-away lang kayo ay breakup na agad, kapag may away kayo ay suko na agad. So kami, umabot talaga sa time na naghiwalay talaga kami, pero walang nakakaalam,&quot; Cantiveros revealed. </p><p>&quot;Because nire-respect namin ang isa&#x27;t isa. Tatay ni Mela, nanay ni Mela, so hindi kami pwedeng magsiraan kasi we share love for each other. So &#x27;yun ang aming usapan. Naghiwalay kami. Six months talaga, hindi kami nagsama sa isang bahay. Dito ko lang talaga ito sinabi. Six months talaga,&quot; she added.</p><p>Cantiveros added that the reconciliation happened while accompanying their daughter to watch a film.</p><p>&quot;Nag-usap kami niyan sa sinehan kasi kasama namin &#x27;yung anak namin na nanood ng sine. So sabi niya i-try natin natin na i-work out kasi kailangan tayo ng anak natin,&quot; she said.</p><p>She added: &quot;So nagsama kami ulit. So nakita namin ang rapport, na in love ulit kami sa isa&#x27;t isa. Ganoon din si Jason. Mahal niya ako na nakikita niya na sobrang [mahal ko ang mga anak namin],&quot; the Kapamilya artist said.</p><p>Cantiveros believes that a real relationship is not always sweet but stressed that respect should always be there.</p><p>&quot;Kapag dumaan ka sa butas (ng karayom) at nalagpasan niyo &#x27;yan, &#x27;yan ang totoo. At si Lord lahat &#x27;yan.
