Shuvee Etrata celebrates sister Shaina as first graduate in the family: ‘7 more to go'

<p>Shuvee Etrata marked a deeply personal family milestone after her younger sister, Shaina, officially became the first among their siblings to graduate from college. The moment is truly special for the actress as she is their family&#x27;s breadwinner and the eldest among nine siblings.  </p><p>The Kapuso actress was present to witness Shaina’s graduation ceremony at the University of San Carlos. On July 2, Shuvee shared snippets of the special occasion through her Instagram Stories.  </p><p>“1 down, 7 more to go,” she wrote.  </p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1783154625005Shuvee Shaina graduation 1.png" style="width:500px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>In a touching video showing Shaina walking across the stage to receive her diploma, the actress expressed how proud she was to see her sister reach a dream they had both long carried together. </p><p>“Carrying both our dreams! Thank you for helping me carry not just our family’s burdens, but our dreams, too,” she shared.  </p><p>“Every sacrifice, every sleepless night, and every challenge has led you to this moment. I’m so proud of you. Here’s to the dreams we’ve fought for together—and even bigger ones we’ll achieve side by side. I honestly don&#x27;t know how to put everything I feel into words. Thank you. Thank you for every sacrifice you&#x27;ve made for our family. For always being my backup in every possible way. Te Shuv… graduate na jud ko,&quot; she ended.  </p><p>The touching exchange quickly drew warm reactions online, with many netizens sending congratulatory messages to both sisters. Among those who publicly reacted was Shuvee’s suitor, Anthony Constantino, who also joined in celebrating the family milestone. </p><p>Long before finding success as a content creator and actress, Shuvee was pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy at Cebu Doctors’ University. Although she once dreamed of eventually becoming a doctor, circumstances pushed her to temporarily set aside her studies and take on the role of being a breadwinner.</p>
