<p>Beyond acting, Joross Gamboa has found a deeper purpose behind the scenes: sharing his faith with others in the entertainment industry.</p><p>According to a report by The Philippine Star, the actor has made it his mission to spread the Word of God among his friends and colleagues in show business.</p><p>“I share the Word of God with my friends,” he relayed.  “So, iyon &#x27;yung isang purpose ko ngayon, being the salt and light in the industry. Ilapit sila kay Lord and i-share lagi ang Word of God.&quot;</p><p>Joross also revealed that he had been encouraged to become a pastor, but he believes his calling lies elsewhere.</p><p>“Sa akin lang, is mag-evangelize sa showbiz. Siyempre, una &#x27;yung ministry ko, &#x27;yung family ko, and then &#x27;yung mga friends ko. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Global Life University.</p><p>According to the university’s official website, students receive a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies after completing a four-year program. All glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,&quot; he posted on his Instagram page at that time.</p><p>Joross began his showbiz career as a contestant on ABS-CBN’s reality talent competition <em>Star Circle Quest</em> in 2004, where he finished as second runner-up.</p><p>Since then, he has built a long-running career in television and film. He was part of the cast of three of Star Cinema’s highest-grossing movies: <em>Rewind, Hello, Love, Goodbye,</em> and <em>The Hows of Us.</em></p>
