Korina Sanchez has made it clear that her husband, former senator Mar Roxas, is no longer interested in seeking public office.In an interview with entertainment reporters, Sanchez revealed, “Ayaw na niya, eh. I get it. Inaalok ngang maging talk show host. Sabi ko, ‘Tumigil ka. Naging presidential candidate ka na. ‘Wag ka nang mag-host-host pa ng programa.’”Praising her husband&#x27;s quiet life now away from the spotlight, Sanchez continued, “If you think about all of the laws and reforms that Mar has been able to pass, pati ako ay mahihiyang tumakbo. Hindi ko kaya ‘yung mga ginawa niya.”The veteran broadcaster also addressed rumors that President Ferdinand &quot;Bongbong&quot; Marcos Jr. once offered Roxas a cabinet position.“Ang alam ko, may mga alok siya. Pero alam n’yo, pati sa akin, hindi niya sinasabi sa akin. May mga alok siya pero ang alam ko ay ayaw na talaga niya,” she told the media.“Pero, katulad natin, siya rin naman ay inaasam na magtagumpay ang administration,” she added.She then responded to questions about her own intentions to enter politics, saying, “Actually, matagal na akong may plano. Dati-dati pa. Napipigilan parati. Palagay ko, mapipigilan na naman ngayon. Lahat sila, gusto akong tumakbo. Pero mahirap na. Kailangang alamin muna natin.”Sanchez is pleased that &quot;Rated Korina&quot; is airing on both ABS-CBN and TV5.“I am very proud to have been honed by ABS-CBN,” she shared.
