Anna Cerezo, ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA — Actor Harvey Bautista shared he has moved on from his split with AC Bonifacio but is not yet ready to date as he wants to further build his name as an actor.“Yes na lang,” he said in an interview held after the advance screening the fifth episode of “Drug War: Conspiracy on Silence” when asked if he has moved on.“Sa  ngayon hindi muna [love life]. I want to focus on my career and getting my name as an actor and i want to make sure I do a good job,” he added.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2026/3/21/ac-bonifacio-confirms-she-is-now-single-2010">READ: AC Bonifacio confirms she is now single</a></div>Bautista also clarified that Michael Sager was not involved in their breakup. In an interview with Boy Abunda, Bonifacio said that Sager is only a good friend.“He is not [involved]. I get the confusion— online can get hectic. There is no involvement,” Bautista said.The actor stars as Kiko in the six-episode series “Drug War: A Conspiracy of Silence,” with fifth episode set to drop on Aug. 27, and the finale streaming on Sept. 3“I hope people remember how uncomfortable they felt watching what Kiko went through, his scenes—it is nothing compared to what happened. What we showed is the censored, filtered version. If you felt uncomfortable, I hope you remember that… I hope you remember the tears we shed the blood, the sweat, the grit,” he said.Bautista also revealed that he is preparing for an exciting new series that he believes will challenge him as an actor.“Hindi pa nafifilm or sisimulan. it is something I have not done, it is more mature. Not in a sexier sense— but an older role. Mas higher stakes as an actor,” he said.
