Olivia Rodrigo donates ₱622 million to women’s charities through Daisy Chain Fields festival

<p>Olivia Rodrigo has announced a $10 million or ₱622 million donation to various nonprofit organizations through proceeds from her <em>Daisy Chain Fields</em> festival, taking place in Irvine, California, on August 29 (US time).</p><p>“It’s a real honor to announce that we are donating $10 million to be given directly to these 10 nonprofit partners,&quot; she said at a press conference as reported by Billboard.  &quot;I’m so excited for tomorrow, I’ll see you guys there.&quot;</p><p>It was in June when the Filipino-American singer announced <em>Daisy Chain Fields</em>, an all-women music festival where 100 percent of the net proceeds will benefit charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.</p><p>The festival features a star-studded lineup that includes Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Eli Garbage, Santigold, and The Breeders, among others.</p><p>Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks are also set to appear as special guests, while Olivia herself will take the stage at the event.</p><p> “The lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. I got to visit the organization while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines,&quot; she announced at that time.</p><p>Olivia&#x27;s Fund 4 Good is &quot;a global initiative committed to building an equitable and just future for all women and girls through direct support of community-based non-profits that champion girls&#x27; education, support reproductive rights and prevent gender-based violence.&quot;</p>
