<p>Richard Yap opened up about how he manages his earnings from show business.</p><p>&quot;Most of what I earn, I really put in the business. I partnered with others for my restaurant and then I opened my own office furniture business,&quot; he said as per English translation in an in interview with Melai Cantiveros on <em>Kuan on One.&nbsp;</em></p><p>He acknowledged, however, that running a business also comes with risks and requires careful decision-making.</p><p>&quot;But having a business is tough. And then it&#39;s a good path because we&#39;re able to give back to others in return,&quot; the actor highlighted. &nbsp;</p><p>Despite the opportunities that came with his career, Richard admitted that there were also sacrifices, particularly during the height of <em>Be Careful with My Heart.</em></p><p>&quot;During the time of<em>&nbsp;Be Careful With My Heart</em>, I really missed a lot of opportunities to see my children. Like with Dylan, his birthdays, I wasn&#39;t there. His school achievements, I missed those too. So those are my regrets. But after that, production days weren&#39;t five days a week anymore,&quot; he said. &quot;There&#39;s time now. Unfortunately, my kids are grown up now.&quot;&nbsp;</p>
