Former AOA member and actress Kwon Min-ah has publicly spoken out against her elder sister, accusing her of allegedly misappropriating hundreds of millions of Korean won and committing other wrongdoings involving their family.&nbsp;According to The Herald Business and The Chosun Daily, Min-ah made the allegations in a lengthy social media post on September 4, where she opened up about her strained relationship with her sister and the impact it has had on her and their mother.&nbsp;&quot;What is family? For me, only my mother remains as a family member,&quot; she wrote as translated by The Chosun Daily. &quot;They did too many evil things to be called family.&quot;&nbsp;Among the allegations she raised was her sister&#39;s alleged embezzlement and fraud involving more than 700 to 800 million Korean won (over ₱37 million). Min-ah claimed the money included funds belonging to her, her mother, and some of her mother&#39;s acquaintances.&nbsp;She said the alleged financial issues involving her sister had been known to her for years, but that she initially remained understanding of her situation.&nbsp;&quot;I had known about my sister&rsquo;s embezzlement for a long time. If she couldn&rsquo;t repay the money she borrowed during tough times, a sincere apology or acknowledgment would have sufficed. However, about two years ago, I realized the severity when I found that my mother&rsquo;s assets, my bank account, and the money I had given to my mother had all disappeared.&quot;&nbsp;<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17886752842461788675463886.png" style="width: 500px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib"></div>Min-ah further alleged that her sister made hurtful remarks about their mother while she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer.&nbsp;&quot;Despite covering all of my mother&rsquo;s breast cancer treatment costs and post-surgery cosmetic procedures with my own funds, my sister said things like, &lsquo;Mom should have gotten breast cancer,&rsquo; and &lsquo;Let&rsquo;s send her to a nursing home,&rsquo; and even spread false information about my mother to her boyfriend,&quot; she claimed.&nbsp;The former AOA member also accused her sister of deceiving her into signing a vehicle purchase agreement worth more than 100 million Korean won (around ₱4.6 million).&nbsp;She then recalled how their different circumstances growing up contributed to painful experiences between them.&quot;My sister went to a humanities high school and Korea University, but my path diverged as I worked part-time in middle school. She was ashamed of me working as the breadwinner, saying, &lsquo;Don&rsquo;t boast about being my sibling,&rsquo;&quot; she recalled.&nbsp;Despite the accusations, Min-ah said she was still giving her sister an opportunity to acknowledge what she allegedly did and apologize.&nbsp;&quot;If she admits her wrongdoing and apologizes now, we can move on,&rdquo; she said. &nbsp;Min-ah&#39;s latest post comes years after she first became known to the public as a member of AOA. She debuted with the group in 2012 and left in 2019.&nbsp;Following her departure, Min-ah made allegations of bullying against fellow AOA members, which drew widespread public attention and sympathy.&nbsp;She later became involved in several other controversies, including allegations involving nurse power harassment and claims of coercion surrounding the end of a relationship. She also faced criticism over a series of social media live broadcasts in which she addressed various personal issues, prompting her to issue apologies and explanations.&nbsp;Min-ah had previously spoken publicly about financial disputes involving her elder sister as well as tax-related concerns.&nbsp;Her latest allegations against her sister remain in her claims, with Min-ah now indicating that she is prepared to pursue legal action if the matter is not resolved.&nbsp;&ldquo;But if she has no intention of doing so, I will expose the truth through legal action for fraud, forgery of private documents, embezzlement, and intimidation, ensuring she can never hold her head high again,&quot; she warned.
