Tim Laude shares what inspired him to pursue content creation

<p>Tim Laude looked back on what inspired him to pursue content creation and how growing up around social media helped shape his interest in vlogging.</p><p>In an interview with Benedict Cua on the <em>Potluck Saturdays</em> podcast, Tim acknowledged that his mother, Small Laude, having an established online presence gave him an early boost when he started creating content.</p><p>&quot;I am actually blessed because my mom already has a platform. He explained that he and his siblings have eventually found their respective roles within the family.</p><p>&quot;We all have our our different roles. PJ, our eldest, he is helping out my dad with whatever he is doing. Mike naman, my second brother, he is the one handling the skincare business. Me naman, content creating. My sister has the most expensive tuition (his sister is studying in the US) among us siblings, so the pressure is on her,&quot; he said.</p><p>Tim recalled that he initially worked for the family business before his mother encouraged him to focus on making videos.</p><p>&quot;I was working [in my mom&#39;s skincare business] before I started content creating and the moment she told me na keep your time to yourself and start making videos. And my cameraman has been very great person to work with,&rdquo; he said.</p><p>Tim also reflected on how his confidence and ability to interact with different people developed over the years, crediting the environment he grew up in.</p><p>&quot;I think the environment I am in. The environment I am around people are really smart, people are funny, or sometimes you just joke around,&quot; he said. &quot;I&#39;ve been in lots of environment na for me to adapt.&quot;</p>
