Awra Briguela takes up BS in Psychology, shares what inspired her to pursue college

<p>Awra Briguela opened up about what inspired her to pursue college and how returning to school became an important part of rebuilding her confidence.</p><p>In an interview with Karen Davila on her latest YouTube vlog, Awra shared that going back to school has helped her move forward from difficult experiences while also supporting her mental well-being.</p><p>&quot;Malaking bagay talaga siya ngayon sa akin and alam ko po na ito &#39;yung pinakamakakatulong sa akin para maka move-on sa lahat ng nangyari sa buhay ko. And tama naman po ako ng naging desisyon kasi after what happened to me, going back to school, sobrang laking help niya po sa akin. Hindi lang po mentally eh. Kasi dun ko po ulit naumpisahang humarap ulit sa tao, makitungo, makipagkaibigan. &#39;Yung challenge sa sarili mo to show up kasi nawala po &#39;yun sa akin,&quot; she said.</p><p>The actress revealed that it took some time before she felt ready to face people again.</p><p>&quot;One year po akong nagkulong din sa bahay. Takot humarap sa tao. Hindi naglalabas. She explained that while she initially considered pursuing a course related to her entertainment career, her personal experiences eventually sparked her interest in understanding human behavior and her own way of processing emotions and challenges.</p><p>&quot;At first gusto kong i-connect &#39;yung course ko sa career ko. Dapat magmu-multimedia ako or magfa-fine arts po ako. Pero sa pinagdadaanan ko po at sa mga bagay na nangyayari sa akin, parang na-curious po ako kung paano i-process ng &#39;yung mga bagay-bagay. Para mapag-aralan ko rin po &#39;yung sarili ko, makilala ko &#39;yung sarili ko kasi feeling ko po makakatulong talaga siya kung malalaman ko kung papano ko pino-process &#39;yung mga bagay kasi honestly hindi ko rin alam kung paano ko nakakaya or paano ko napro-process lahat. Pero as of now po, second year na po ako at nai-enjoy ko naman po &#39;yung journey ko kaya feeling ko po mapu-pursue ko siya,&quot; she stated.</p>
