Handout </div>Jax Reyes, known for his content on credit cards and personal finance, shared his vision of using his platform to uplift Filipinos through financial education. “[My] vision with personal finance, proper finance education, and proper use of credit, I believe that every Filipino will be uplifted and if we uplift every Filipino, we uplift the Philippines as a whole,” he remarked. “That’s the reason why I create these [kinds] of content and make it very easy to understand.”Other awardees included Alta Philippines, renowned for its handcrafted leather shoes; Kuya Kim Atienza, famous for his fun and educational videos; and Love Yourself PH, a group dedicated to advocating for HIV testing and sexual health awareness. Icoy Rapadas, a home cook known for his unique twists on Filipino dishes, and Lenie Aycardo, who has captivated audiences with her makeup transformations, were also celebrated for their creativity and dedication.The event underscored how TikTok has become a powerful platform for Filipino creators to share their passions, build businesses, and inspire others, making 2024 a year to remember for local talent.
