MJ Felipe, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — The early Christmas celebration in the Philippines has been officially approved by the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey!</p><p>October 14 was a day that Pinoy fans, or as she calls them &quot;lambs,&quot; will never forget as she brought with her, her iconic Christmas track ‘All I Want for Christmas is you’ to cap her more than 90-minute ‘Celebration of Mimi’ show in Manila.</p><p>Hardcore fans know that Mariah is very sacred when it comes to announcing when &quot;it’s tiiiiimeee&quot; to celebrate and start playing &quot;All I Want.&quot; </p><p>But fans also know that she has acknowledged the Ber season in the Philippines and gave her Pinoy fans the &quot;exception&quot; card. Like A Bird.’ </p><p>So the jampacked MOA Arena crowd went into crazy mode when they started hearing the iconic intro of ‘All I want.’ </p><p>A massive shower of white confetti filled the arena as the crowd sang along with the songbird, making it the perfect punctuation to the unforgettable night with Mimi.</p><p>She opened the show with a nostalgic video of her eras then making a grand entrance with ‘Type Dangerous.’ </p><p>The crowd was pumped as she heads on to belt ‘Emotions’ and ‘Touch my body.’</p><p>It was a treat for old and new fans as Mariah mixed her repertoire with deep cuts and cover of ‘Without You.’</p><p>Compared to other shows in Asia, Mimi was more groovin’ and movin’ in her Manila show. She was vibing with the crowd from both sides of the stage, and the Pinoy fans were also giving back that good energy. </p><p>While she does not acknowledge time and age, Mariah seems to move less compared to before, not to mention those high heels she wore throughout the show.</p><p>And if the Pinoy vibe wasn’t enough to make her feel the warm Filipino love, she also wore a Michael Cinco dress in one of the segments. Cinco also posted this on his Facebook page.</p><p>&quot;Mariah is just beyond exquisite, she’s perfect. We love you Mariah. We can&#x27;t thank you enough for everything!&quot; says some of the members of the Mariah Carey Philippines fanclub.</p><p>Seeing music legends like Mariah Carey still doing tours and visiting her fans from the other side of the world is more than enough reason to love her. </p><p>And just like the title says, ‘Celebration of Mimi,’ and celebrate the Pinoys did - just pure love for the one and only, Mariah Carey.</p>
