‘Bar Boys: The Musical’ announces additional shows on its final weekend

Recently, the show received major honors at the 15th Gawad Buhay Awards, including Outstanding Ensemble Performance for a Musical, Female Featured Performance in a Musical for Sheila Francisco, and Male Featured Performance in a Musical for Juliene Mendoza. Maurice Carlson, Naths Everett as cover for Justice Hernandez, female professor and others as well as cover for Boss Mama and Ate Tinay, along with Ace Polias and Aecy Abne as male and female swings.</p><p><em>Bar Boys: The Musical</em> book and lyrics was created by Pat Valera, with music and lyrics by Myke Salomon, and is based on the original film by Kip F. Oebanda. It is helmed by director Mikko Angeles, with contributions from a full creative and technical team including Myke Salomon as musical director, Jomelle Era as choreographer, Ohm David and Julio Garcia for set design, Hershee Tantiado for costumes, Meliton Roxas Jr. and Jethro Nibaten for lighting design, Aron Roca for sound design, video design by Joyce Garcia, Julio Garcia for property design, and technical direction by D Cortezano.</p><p>Along with the show, the Barefoot Theatre Collaborative also released seat-view guides to help audiences choose their preferred sections.
