Her enthusiasm in coin collecting motivated her to start Minted MNL, which was launched in 2016 and has already established itself as the Philippines&#x27; leading numismatic organization.</p><p>According to Carandang, Minted MNL is committed to building a strong collecting community through a range of events, educational initiatives, and premium auctions.</p><p>She recently organized one of the country&#x27;s largest auctions, the Summer Show 2025, at The Westin Manila Hotel, which featured exclusive and historic collections and was attended by collectors, historians, and investors.</p><p>While she was the event&#x27;s face, the actual stars were the iconic items on show at the auction, such as Jose Rizal&#x27;s original execution pictures, Jose Rizal&#x27;s 1901 medal, Silver Quill (award for La Juventud Filipina), 19th-century Emilio Aguinaldo revolutionary handkerchief, Phil-US Commonwealth peso coins, and other historic and rare coins.</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:958px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1741586017156image4.jpeg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner">Photo by Josh Mercado</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:958px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1741586066157image5.jpeg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner">Photo by Josh Mercado</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>Carandang explained that they collaborated with global grading giants PCGS and CCG to ensure collectors received competent authenticity.
