HYBE brings K-pop film festival to PH cinemas in July

<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/174849513269020250529.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Poster for the Hybe Cine Fest in Asia.<em> Photos courtesy of HYBE</em></span></span></span></div><p>HYBE, the powerhouse behind some of today&#x27;s biggest K-pop acts, announced Thursday it would host music film events across Asia in July, with the Philippines among the confirmed locations.</p><p>In a press release, the company behind boy bands BTS and SEVENTEEN said it would mount the &quot;Hybe Cine Fest in Asia.&quot;</p><p>Audiences will be able to screen the concert films &quot;BTS Map of the Soul On:E&quot; from BTS, &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/10/10/22/k-pops-seventeen-praises-ph-crowd-for-good-energies"><strong>Be The Sun</strong></a>&quot; from SEVENTEEN, &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/08/17/23/tomorrow-x-together-ends-tour-with-fun-fiery-ph-show"><strong>Act: Sweet Mirage</strong></a>&quot; from Tomorrow X Together and &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/2/4/with-ph-as-tour-s-final-stop-enhypen-saved-the-best-for-last-2012"><strong>Fate</strong></a>&quot; from ENHYPEN.</p><p>Additionally, the event features &quot;HYBE Cinema Noraebang,&quot; described as an &quot;interactive experience where you can sing your heart out to the songs of your favorite [HYBE] artists.&quot;</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1748495167727HYBE_CINEFEST_40x27_ASIA_Final[1].jpg" style="width:633px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>The &quot;HYBE Cinema Noraebang&quot; includes music from the aforementioned boy bands, along with fellow male acts &amp;Team, BOYNEXTDOOR and TWS, as well as girl groups Le Sserafim, ILLIT and Katseye.</p><p>Hybe Cine Fest will screen at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and SM North Edsa from July 10 to 13.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/movies-series/2025/3/13/now-showing-k-pop-concert-films-in-ph-cinemas-1333"><strong>Now showing: K-pop concert films in PH cinemas<br/></strong></a></div><p>Tickets go on sale in most territories on Wednesday, June 4, beginning 7 p.m. (Philippine time). Fans can visit <a href="http://www.hybecinefest.com/"><strong>this link</strong></a> for more information about the event.</p><p>The fest will roll out in more than 350 cinemas across various countries and locations. Each territory will also feature &quot;Special Locations,&quot; offering on-site activations such as merchandise and photo opportunities, HYBE said.</p><p>The event is held in partnership with the HYBE-run fan community platform Weverse and film distributor Trafalgar Releasing.</p><p>Founded in 2005 by producer Bang Si-hyuk, HYBE was originally known as Big Hit Entertainment, the label that launched BTS.
