Itchyworms to bring Pinoy rock to UK for debut tour

Handout </div>MANILA, Philippines – Filipino rock veterans The Itchyworms are set to make their long-awaited United Kingdom debut with the #AkinKaNaLangUK Tour, bringing their distinctive sound and nostalgic performances to Manchester, Liverpool, and London. The band, known for chart-topping hits like “Beer,” “Love Team,” and “Di Na Muli,” is particularly excited to perform in the homeland of their musical heroes, The Beatles.Vocalist and drummer Jazz Nicolas expressed the band&#x27;s enthusiasm, stating, “We’re HUGE Beatles fans, so I’m excited to go to Abbey Road with my bandmates, and of course Liverpool, and play at the Cavern Club where the Beatles first performed. England feels like our ultimate frontier.”This UK leg follows successful tours across Japan, Singapore, the United States, Canada, and Taiwan, where the band received an overwhelming response from global fans. Vocalist and guitarist Jugs Jugueta noted the universal appeal of their music, observing, “What I realized is they don’t care if they understand the words — they understand the feeling.”Despite a lean touring crew, the band remains energized by the growing international appreciation for Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
