<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1752144878868kostcon.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/>LYN, Kim Bum Soo, K.Will, Chen, Soyou, Heize, and Lee Mujin to headline first-ever KOSTCON</div>MANILA -- The heartfelt emotions of Korean dramas will come alive on stage as seven of Korea’s most iconic OST singers gather in Manila for the very first KOSTCON, the Korean OST concert, happening on August 6 at the Mall of Asia Arena.Headlining this unique concert experience are LYN, Kim Bum Soo, K.Will, EXO’s Chen, Soyou, Heize, and Lee Mujin -- all acclaimed for lending their voices to some of the most memorable K-drama soundtracks.In an interview, David Shin, CEO of Kelebrity Worldwide Inc. and creator of KOSTCON, shared how the Philippines became the top choice to launch the concert outside Korea. “When we were developing this concept, we realized that Filipinos are very, very enthusiastic about Korean culture,” Shin said. “Especially when it comes to Korean drama, they have shown endless love to our content in Korea. So we picked the Philippines as one of the very front line to visit and share the love for Korean drama.”But KOSTCON is not your usual K-pop event. According to Shin, it’s designed to feel like an entire K-drama brought to life, with the music as the heart of the storytelling. “KOSTCON stands for &#x27;Korean OST concert,&#x27; and OST is not just background music it delivers the emotions of the story,” Shin explained. “Each artist will perform in a dedicated act with a specific theme. Once you watch all seven acts, it will feel like you’ve just experienced an entire drama live on stage.”Audiences can expect to relive the iconic sounds of hit K-dramas such as “Descendants of the Sun,” “My Love from the Star,” “Tastefully Yours,” and “Secret” among others with drama footage and immersive visuals enhancing the storytelling. “Instead of the typical concert setup, we want the audience to feel like they’re part of the show the protagonist of the story,” Shin added.The carefully curated lineup includes legendary OST artists, each known for their emotional vocal prowess. And one name that’s generating major buzz is Chen of EXO. “Chen is a bridge between K-pop and K-OST,” Shin said. “Though he’s known as a K-pop idol, he’s also performed many beloved drama OSTs. His vocal ability and emotional delivery make him the perfect fit.”KOSTCON promises an unforgettable night for K-drama and K-music fans, blending music, emotion, and live storytelling in a format never before seen in the country.
