Sandra had a series of strokes which have hit her pretty badly. So they asked me if I could do a couple of songs with them to honor her. I’m only arriving in Manila today so I’m praying for strength and muscle memory to jam with them on August 20. May God bless our efforts to raise some funds for our beloved friend and sister,&quot; she wrote.</p><p>Apart from Chavez, the show is also a tribute to the group&#x27;s former mentor and music director Toto Genica, who passed away last year. </p><p>&quot;It also is a tribute to our mentor and former music director Toto Gentica who passed away so suddenly on Gary’s birthday last year. Forgive me for our mistakes haha We will do our best ! It’s our 46th anniversary can you imagine! Whew! I’m 10 pounds overweight so I am fainting right now as I prepare to fly to Manila.
