Photo by Matt Holyoak</div>MANILA — Filipino fans of Westlife will once again get the chance to hear the group’s biggest hits live as the Irish pop quartet returns to the Philippines for a concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on January 20, 2027.The Manila stop is part of the group’s “Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour,” a global trek celebrating the band’s 25th year in music. The newly announced Asian leg also includes performances in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok and Hong Kong.The tour announcement comes alongside the release of “25 — The Ultimate Collection,” a retrospective album featuring some of Westlife’s best-known songs, including “Flying Without Wings,” “Swear It Again,” “My Love,” “Uptown Girl” and “You Raise Me Up.”The album also includes new tracks recorded by members Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan and Mark Feehily, among them “Chariot,” written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid and Will Reynolds, and produced by Steve Mac. Another new song, “Your Love Amazes Me,” is also part of the collection.“What better way to mark 25 years of Westlife than with an album that brings together our biggest hits alongside new music we’re so proud of,” the group said in a statement released Friday. “We’re beyond excited to head out on a global tour and celebrate these songs with the fans who’ve made it all possible.”Before heading to Asia in January 2027, Westlife will kick off the anniversary tour with a 13-date residency in Dublin in September, followed by shows across the United Kingdom and Europe — marking the group’s first major headline run across continental Europe in two decades.
