<p>MANILA — Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis departed from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday ahead of ASAP’s much-awaited shows in Sydney, Australia this weekend.</p><p>Curtis is among the more than 30 Kapamilya stars set to perform in ASAP Australia on July 25 at the TikTok Entertainment Centre, formerly known as the ICC Sydney Theatre.</p><p>“I think this is the first time I’m performing in Australia, which is weird, because I grew up there. So I’m super excited. I’m super ready and I can’t wait to see everyone. I can’t wait to perform with the ASAP Kapamilya family,&quot; Curtis urged fans to watch the show.</p><p>The Philippines’ longest-running musical variety show will stage two performances featuring the same star-studded lineup but with different sets and performances.</p><p>The concert promises appearances from some of the country’s biggest entertainers, powerhouse vocalists, and Filipino-Australian guest performers in a celebration of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and Filipino talent.</p><p>Curtis also shared that she recently returned from a vacation after completing work on her upcoming film. “I just literally came from vacation. I just wrapped up filming &#x27;BuyBust,&#x27;” she said.</p><p>She added that her sister had already been asking when she would return to Australia.</p><p>“Tumawag na nga sa akin &#x27;yung sisteret ko. Sabi niya, ano na? Kailan ka babalik? So ito na nga, babalik na tayo,” Curtis said.</p><p>Speaking about the film, Curtis said production had finally wrapped after years of work. “It took us three years but finally, we’re done and I can&#x27;t wait for everyone to see it,” she said.</p><p>The Sydney event marks another international stop for &quot;ASAP&quot; as the program continues to bring its signature live entertainment to Filipino audiences overseas.</p>
