ABS-CBN News</div>BINI has departed from Los Angeles, California and are on their way to Osaka, Japan for the first stop of their two-day performance at the Summer Sonic Music Festival 2026. Together with their production team and dancers Besties, Aiah, Gwen, Jhoanna, Stacey, Mikha, Maloi, Colet and Sheena are feeling all the emotions. Mikha admitted that she’s a bit nervous. “I know Japan is one of the hardest markets to penetrate and I just hope we do well. And iniisip ko pa nga hairstyle ko doon eh!” she said.It’s like Coachella all over again, according to Jhoanna, “Stamina talaga ‘yung need namin for this, kasi para siyang Coachella eh. Sunod-sunod na performance tapos ilang songs. Tapos nakakalito pa, while we’re doing our world tour, may Summer Sonic na iba ulit ‘yung arrangements at iba ulit ‘yung choreo ng ibang songs so patibayan na lang ng brain cells.”Yes, you heard it right. There’s an exciting setlist in store for Summer Sonic, with their team confirming that the girls will perform new songs for the first time in a long while, along with fresh arrangements.Coming from a packed world tour schedule, how are they keeping up with their stamina? Stacey replied, “Kasi naka-ilang performance na kami sa tour, &#x27;di ba? So, talagang in-game kami. ‘Yung stamina namin, mas nabi-build siya in the long run. Sanayan na lang talaga ‘yan, saka ‘yung training namin may workout, ilang beses kaming nagru-run, lalo na nung Coachella. Like ilang beses kaming nag-run so feeling ko doon nag-build up ‘yung strong stamina (namin).”“Pagdating namin guys, we’ll rehearse for Summer Sonic, kasi hindi pa namin ulit nara-run ‘yun kasi puro world tour kami. So we’ll prepare,” said Gwen. Even before the kick off for their world tour, the girls had done rehearsals for Summer Sonic.  But aside from their much-awaited performance, they are also looking forward to their free day in Tokyo — and some of them had planned out what to do. Like for Colet, “Excited ako for Japan, first time naming lahat. And meron kaming rest day so gusto kong pumunta sa Disney Sea. Yes, ilalaban ko &#x27;yun, bahala na!”“In Japan, they’re known for having a lot of mga activities — ang mga cafes na very interesting na may kanya-kanyang personalities, I hope I can do that,” said Aiah. “We only have one day na rest day so I hope I get to visit. May mga ano - &#x27;yung mga zumo wrestling, mga ganun. &#x27;Yung mga fun na activities!”Maloi and Sheena, on the other hand, have been brushing up on some Japanese phrases. “I’m so excited ‘coz it’s my first time and andaming naghahype sa akin na mababaliw raw ako doon, so excited na akong mabaliw.”BINI will take the Mountain Stage of the Osaka leg of Summer Sonic on August 14 from 2:40 to 3:20 in the afternoon. That translates to 1:40 to 2:20 p.m. in the Philippines. Wowow on Demand is the only official livestream partner of Summer Sonic and it’s only available in Japan.
